Traditionally, RancherMinds were a year-round program. In 2026, we are shifting to hosting more intensive events throughout the year.
This looks like hosting 4 events about one broader topic over the course of 1 month.

Building a More Intentional Operation
The Building a More Intentional Operation course is designed to take ranchers from a state of reactivity and overwhelm to making intentional, clear and confident decisions. This RancherMind event is led by Jasper Oeltjen of Heritage and Horizons.

Shaye Wanner
Shaye is the founder of RancherMinds and Casual Cattle Conversations. She’s a fifth-generation rancher passionate about connecting ranchers to the people, ideas and resources that improve their profits and lifestyles.
Jasper Oeltjen
Jasper Oeltjen is a rancher in southeast Minnesota who is an educator by trade. Her experiences in ranching, education and the IT space led her to start Heritage and Horizons – a business that specializes in teaching ranchers to manage intentionally instead of in reaction mode.
RancherMinds: Not Your Typical Webinar
These events are laid back yet jam-packed with value for beef cattle producers. Attendees have the opportunity to submit questions in advance and ask anything they’d like during the event to gain feedback from experts and their peers. Even if you don’t know what to ask and just want to listen and learn, these events are a guaranteed hour of focused discussion that allows cattle producers to leave with actionable ideas and steps to move the profit needle for their ranches.
